Sing into Reading Virtual School Visits
Sing into Reading follows an integrated curriculum that includes literacy, music, and movement. A Sing into Reading class is not a "show" for kids to watch. These classes facilitate interactive learning experiences. Classes meet Common Core standards for literacy.
Virtual School Visits include:
- communication ahead of time to find out the current curriculum topics. Risa will customize your class to what you are studying, allowing students the opportunity to make connections through an integrated curriculum.
- developmentally appropriate songs. Risa offers classes for babies, preschool, kindergarten, and first grade, She also offers classes for teens and adults with special needs. Whichever age she is working with, she will make sure to follow best practices.
- movement songs.
- interactive experiences. The children will not be on mute the whole time.
- a songbook. After a school visit, Risa will provide you with a digital songbook, containing the lyrics to the songs we sang.
- acoustic accompaniment on guitar or ukulele.
- a recording of the class that you can review as often as you like.
